The Mission Catch 420 was unveiled with the aim of providing a longer, faster and features packed, yet still highly comfortable alternative to the Catch 390.

The unique seating configuration on the Catch 420 is shaped to fit your body providing continuous contact with the kayak allowing for optimum paddling performance. Paddle tests have found the speed of the Catch 420 to equal that of many other longer fishing kayaks on the market and the tracking is unbelievably straight even for novice paddlers. Although the waterline length gives the kayak speed, there is still plenty of stability, rocker and volume in the boat to make navigating surf a breeze.

The Catch 420 is packed with practical and useful features for fishermen. Forward of the centre hatch which houses a bait bucket is an innovative wet storage area and transducer scupper hole which is designed to take a fish finder and protect it from from waves, rain and sun. The Prowler 4.1 has exceptional tracking and almost no water slap.  Even for the larger paddler this kayak is extremely stable even in rough conditions.  It is a great all-round kayak that is nibble and easy to manage, allowing you to get in amongst the rocks.  This kayak punches out through the waves, so it handles the surf and surf re-entries with ease.  It shows no signs of burying the bow when coming back in.  The rocker, and volume, in the nose of the Prowler kayaks has made this a performance feature.

The deck layout is ideal for adding all those extras.

It comes with a large, hinged centre hatch.  This has been designed to allow not only rod storage but also allows the fisherman to stow all their gear and even their catch.  This can be an advantage to avoid clutter on the deck and if paddling offshore it allows the fisherman to stow everything (particularly your reels) when negotiating the surf.

The rear well is shaped to take the optional insulated 1.1m ice box (Esky), or an insulated tank bag as well as having attachment points and recesses for a livewell.
